Anyone who knows me knows that I do enjoy a good drumming and something about some of these types of performances just make me smile to various degrees.

Well you’d think it would be something that I’d do more often – but it isn’t something that I do very often at all, which is a BIG bad idea on my part. So today that is what I’ve been doing is going through my main computer and putting everything in order to DVD (starting with images – that took up 12 DVDs).
I learned something else, I don’t have enough DVDs to back up my entire computer as I first thought I had. Seems half a terabyte has been filled = BLEEP!!!
Going to have to get more DVDs to burn the files to – though some I’ll just be tossing as they serve no purpose anymore. It really is amazing how many files you create over the years and just what files you back up because its client based work vs your own person trial and error stuff.
Oh well better get back at it, write more shortly!
The Highwaymen – Britain’s Got Talent 2011 audition – itv.com/talent – UK Version
Well went to church today and was asked to give the opening prayer which I did, kept it short and sweet so to speak and spent the rest of the service lost in various thoughts some from what people where saying who where speaking n the stand at other times things that caught my attention from another train of thought.
So ya it was a distracting say to degrees at church, we didn’t stay the full three session as we had to get home but Payton did well he slept under the bench for the most part and ignored the world in general, until near the end when he started to poke his nose out and get a little annoyed (think it was starting to get a little warm for him, I know both N and I where feeling hot).
At any rate a good day at church and in general at home mostly doing stuff around the house while trying to stay cool – which wasn’t easy.
Well, it was the annual Mega Adoption down at the EX with the Toronto Humane Society and other rescues having dogs and cats up for adoption for just 25.00, this is the actual event that we’d planned on attending to search for a companion for the two of us until Payton came into our lives.
Watching the local news and seeing the tweets, it is heartwarming to see so many finding their forever homes through this event (though I am sure a few are not so lucky as they first thought and for that I am sad).
But for those who have found their forever homes I am happy that they have a second/third/forth chance at being happy and having a loving family to belong to.
