The following is an interesting little bit of news that I learned that has peeked my interest.

If you take your BMR, and take away how many calories you have eaten then add how many calories you have burned you will then be able to find out what your daily deficit is.

A deficit is how many calories you didn’t use that particular day the goal is to make the deficit hit 3,500 calories for a week or 7,000 calores since then in theory you will have lost between 1 and 2 pounds on average.
