How much money per month is enough for you to live comfortably?
Honestly, I do not know how much it really would be enough to live. I know how much is needed monthly for a basic living (utilities and rent) but everything else varies month to month, but I do know how much we have to live on each month and it means we go without most of the time.
I know how much I would like to have each month, that would allow us to eat out a couple of times a week, drive where we wished when we wished, afford the best food for our Service Dogs and in general not have to worry about surprise events.
To me, 5k (though from research it could be as much as 10k to 20k based off of the rising cost of groceries/food and other general costs of living) would be a nice base to have each month to have to live off of (as half would cover rent and utilities) and I think would be able to cover most of a month’s happenings and allow for some to be saved for emergencies or for the occasional extra special treat (birthday meal or the like).
