Well its dun, Charles and Camilla have gone through with it. I don’t know about some people but well personally I think Charles should step aside and let his son be next in line (his eldest son, appears to have a better head on his shoulders then his father or brother does). I actually caught part of the ending ceremony that was on TV this morning as I was surfing around to see if there was anything to watch.
I wasn’t overly impressed by the deal, but Camilla’s dress wasn’t that bad, it worked with her figure rather well, and I can rather glad that she wasn’t wearing white (which I almost half expected her to be wearing).
Will England ever really accept Camilla? I do not know, but I don’t. She might be his wife, but that doesn’t undo the fact that he cheated on his first wife with the one he’s now married to. I do not think any apologies that where made will ever undo what they did.
In the news that if he comes King that she might well become Queen, well that’s pushing things a little far at least that’s how I feel. I just do not like the fact that Charles cheated on his first wife, and then married the one he was cheating with, that just don’t sit well with me at all. I could never trust a person who cheated on their partner for what ever reason.
And as of 10pm this evening, the TTC is still in talks, it still remains to be seen if they will strike this Monday or not. It still appears likely that they will strike considering the increase that they still are looking for. I don’t like it, but it does look like its still a strong possibility that it will happen.
I was also reading though the comments made by people to the Star about the TTC strike and it seems pretty divided between two camps that some are not blaming the TTC for going on strike while others are bitching about how it will effect their ability to get around town. Yes I know that it will effect people’s ability to get around, hell it will effect my ability to get around as well, but I have an alternative way of getting around its called my Bike. I do feel for the students in University and College who will be effected in regards to getting to their exams or handing in their papers, but well that’s part of life. We do not always have things easy as we would like them to be but if that happened we would never try for better things or what have you, at least that’s how I look at it.
