Celebrating Disability Pride Month

Disability Pride Month was first celebrated in 1990, coinciding with the passage of the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) on July 26, 1990. The first Disability Pride Day parade was held in Boston in 1990 to commemorate this historic legislation.
