Mugwort (Artemisia vulgaris)  Also known as felon herb, St. John’s herb (not St. John’s wort) and Moxa

Uses: Mugwort is one of the nine Saxon herbs used in magick. Used in teas for gastritis, digestive ailments and to treat menstrual disorders . Insect repellent, and is used as one of the ingredients in herbal tobacco, Chinese treatments for rheumatism. Used in stuffing for fatty meats. Leaves have been used to make fumigant candle wicks. Flowers are used to flavor homemade beer made by some southerners.

CAUTION!: may be harmful if taken internally in excessive doses.
