If you could change something about your home, without worry about expense or mess, what would you do?
I would love for our apartment that we rent to actually be owned by us, but at the same time that it would be a 3 bedroom condo still on the ground floor with a little bigger patio space (that was more closed off to give us more privacy) with two bathrooms that are 100% wheelchair accessible. I’d like to have a place to call home that has enough space for both of us to use wheelchairs as needed, I’d love a place to call home that was within our budget and means. Our Jr. One Bedroom is workable because we make it work, but it is far from ideal for what we really need in terms of space for the two of us.
But if there was only one thing that could be changed, then its would be that we owned outright the space we live in. It isn’t ideal, but knowing it is ours would go a long way to making it feel like a home, since the restrictions on what we can do within the unit as a rental makes me feel like we are living in a form of hotel transitional place.
