Well Norman and I both downloaded it as soon as it was possible to have a legal version of it.
Not sure I am a fan of it as yet, Norman on the other hand seems to enjoy it thus far (then again he’s caught a few more Pokemon then I have he’s already level 3 to my level 1 – so ya I’m not doing well atm).
Walking around our area of the city it is interesting to watch those around us playing the game, because you can totally tell who is playing it vs who isn’t (anyone for nose to their phone and walking into things as a result).
I’ve gotten a few of the Pokemon but they are of course low level ones or what ever cp 10 means (I assume it means low level – since I’m seeing 100+ in some of the posts that people are posting on FB and though twitter).
One thing is for sure it isn’t cheap to play the game, it costs around 10 mg of data per hour of play (which can be pricy depending on the plan you are with) and the app is totally unstable the number of times its crashed for what ever reason I’ve lost count today, never mind the number of times the server has gone down is also annoying to say the least – yet its funny the server will be down for Norman yet I can access it so has to be a iSO vs Android thing for the servers or something as well.
Its also interesting to note that just because I see it on my Android phone doesn’t mean Norman will see it on his iPhone and vice versa – or if we both see it the time delay between the two can be interesting (several minutes in a few cases – after one of us catches it, anther will appear on the other’s screen type deal).
