Well saw my doc today, was a decent appointemnt as in it went well. She recommended that I try the medication Celecoxib which is sold under the brand name Celebrex among others and is a COX-2 selective non steroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID). It is used to treat the pain and inflammation of osteoarthritis, rheumatoid arthritis, ankylosing spondylitis, acute pain in adults, painful menstruation, and juvenile rheumatoid arthritis in people two years or older.
So I am hopeful that it will at least help here and there to lower the level of pain when things spike up for me since Advil isn’t helping at all. I know I can’t take the stuff long term as it isn’t healthy for the body to be on it, but since my GP as me on it “As Needed” it means I take it only when I feel I need to do so (which means for me I have to be hitting a 7 or higher in my pain scale to feel that it might be needed/useful).
Been looking it up online and in general most people like a lot of other drugs either like it or don’t as in it either works for them or doesn’t just like any other medication on the market.
