Since this is likely to be something that people are going to start asking when I stream or afterwards, I’m making a MINI FAQ regarding the game itself but also my answers to some of the questions I get asked about my own game play in general. So this FAQ is a combo personal use and for the basic player reference. If you have a question about the game and don’t feel comfortable leaving a comment on my YouTube or while I am live streaming over on twitch you can by all means ask your question here and I will do my best to answer it.

PAYOUT/HARVESTS
What is the best plantable item to get the best bang for buck?
When it comes to items that you plant, Melon is the most profitable when it comes for how often you can plant it and what you get in return. When you break it down you get 5 gold profit per minute which is very decent.
You see each Melon cost 1,000 gold to buy, and sells for around 1,050. This nets you a 50 gold profit per plant.
The downside to this particular crop is that it only take’s 10 minutes to grow so time you’ve planted a decent amount you are likely close or more then ready to start at the bringing and harvest what you planted. This can get boring after a while or just annoying since it grows so fast, but it is one of the most profitable with lowest turn around time and it opens to you at farm level 15.
It also gives you one of the best XP per hour.
Now if you are looking for a crop that you can plant and then go away and come back in around two hours, then that would be the Raspberry which opens up at farm level 22. It cost 3,500 gold per berry to plant, but after two hours you are able to sell the harvest for 3,750 gold each. Which is a net a profit of 250.00 per berry and gives you 50 XP per berry that you harvest, which can add up fast when you plant many of them at a time.
Just remember it still cost 10 goal to plow each plot of land – so you will need to factor that into your workings in general.

FARM HANDS
What Good Are They?
Before you can use a Farm Hand you have to unlock them, and that doesn’t happen until your farm reaches Level 20 – at which point you can find them in the Shop.
Farm Hands are great for harvesting trees and flowers, fishing, feeding and harvesting animals and even harvesting and reflowing crops (but they can’t replant a crop) when you are else where doing something else. However, they are of limited use in general since you only get 15 of them total to use for your entire farm so have to use them strategically to get the most out of them. They also only work in a 13×13 square area, but will work that square for upwards of 4 hours (of real active time).
How Much Do They Cost?
A Farm Hand Cost 2 Tickets per hour to a max of 6 tickets for 4 hours of work.
To Buy A Farm Hand is 22 Ribbons
Do They Harvest Even When You Turn The Game Off?
Unfortunately they do not harvest while the game is offline or you are away from your farm (you can’t be in another person farm and have them still working for you unfortunately). Its annoying but you have to be on your farm for them to work (even if you are AFK as long as your av in on your farm they will harvest).

VISITING ANOTHER FARM
Why Isn’t Anyone Using My Farm?
A guest can only come to your farm IF you are actually in your game itself, you can not be farming another’s farm or the like you have to be physically there on your farm for another person to be able to come onto your farm itself.
You also have to have your set to PUBLIC if you wish to have non-friends be able to visit. You can of course switch things up as you choose to do so and switch it from Public to Friendly Only and Private as you wish. Just remember what your settings are if you are wishing for random people to help you out with your farm.
You can also choose what actions you will allow those who visit your farm to preform (you can set what strangers can do as well as what friends can do) such as giving strangers the ability to Harvest Only and giving Friends the ability to Harvest and Plant type deal, there are various things that you can do including now allowing a stranger to do anything other then come and look at your farm (which will upset many since they come to help out in most cases).
Do I get the items that I harvest/Help with?
You do not get the items that you harvest.
However, you do get double the resources such 2 where you would normally only get 1 from harvesting a item (example, you harvest a tree and you get 1 fruit normally well now you would get 2 instead of that single fruit).
What happens then you help is that you start to accumulate a Bonus boost, you can only accumulate so much of a bonus boost (think its an hour) but the bonus boost can be seen below your AVs Icon and looks like a lightening bold with a count down timer beside it. The boost can be useful for making the most of your harvests, big time for events and for harvests that take more then a day to mature (like some flowers – using the boost on them when they are rest to harvest can be very helpful).
The boost will also increase the price you get for the harvest, it isn’t doubled or anything like that but it is a small increase (like 10% or something – not actually done the math as yet). It will also help increase other harvestable like Honey (anything that has a basket over it will be increased including the wishing wells).

PLATFORMS
What platform do you play Farm Together on?
I play Farm Together on the Xbox One and on the Switch, but I only stream from my xbox one account as I only have the switch lite which doesn’t allow you to stream content.
What platforms is it advisable on to play?
According to the game developers it is currently playable via…
Steam
Xbox One
Nintendo Switch
Playstation 4
Sadly it is NOT cross platform compatible, so you can’t play with friends or family on other platforms other then the one you own the game on. Switch can’t visit someone on xbox or playstation anymore then someone on steam can visit someone playing on the switch.
