Well my car is getting on in years, its almost 20 years old since it is a 1997 Chrysler Cirrus and I’ve had it since my second year of University so it has severed me rater well over the years, but unfortunatly it might not much longer as it is starting to be not as reliable as it once was.
Will know more later, but if it is the end of the road for it it means I’ll be without a car for a unknown period of time and have to use my dad’s van until such time as I can afford to get a newer car or something else comes up that is workable.
One this is for sure, if I am able to get a newer car it will have to have a few things going for it do to my mobility and the fact that I hope to have it for at least 5 to 10 years (as possible to do so), one big thing is it can’t be a step down into it I have to be able to step up into it or the like since unfortunately for me my body isn’t getting younger and my back and hips just are NOT willing to bend like they where oh so many years ago.
The other thing that will be a kicker is blind spots, something that I find looking at some cars/trucks/vans to have a LOT or LARGE portion of the back that you just can’t see anything and that makes me uncomfortable on various levels for driving – but might not be able to get around that with how they have been built over the past several years (past decade for the matter).
Well post more as time does allow for it, take care everyone!
