#DSMA – Technology

The following Questions are taken from the DSMA Tweet Chat

1) What is your favorite diabetes device, technology or medication? In order to answer the following questions, you have to pick one item, and stick with that item for the rest of the evening.
I in all honestly don’t have anything diabetic related that I do like, tolerate several things but like there isn’t a single thing that I like. But if I have to choose, I’ll make the choice of “My Meter”

2) What do you like and dislike about it?
It doesn’t take to much blood for a reading to be got, so the prick to get a reading isn’t to painful as Ive found it to be with other devices.

3) What improvements would you like to make to the device?
Would love if they had a USB or better yet a Bluetooth version of it that was 100% mac compatable (software and all), that world make it a world of a lot easer for charting then the way I’ve been forced to track (which isn’t as accurate)

4) Do you know if there will be any improvements to the item? If so, what are you most excited about?
I haven’t got a clue if there will be such improvements made for the line of meter that I’m using but since there is already a USB meter on the market it stands to reason that they might also bring out one (though bluetooth based is another matter).
