Clean it Out – Day 3 – #DiabetesBlogWeek

Diabetes Blog Week - IconWell its Day 3 of the Diabetes Blog Week and todays topic is…

Yesterday we kept stuff in, so today let’s clear stuff out. What is in your diabetic closet that needs to be cleaned out? This can be an actual physical belonging, or it can be something you’re mentally or emotionally hanging on to. Why are you keeping it and why do you need to get rid of it? (Thank you Rick of RA Diabetes for this topic suggestion.) – Bitter-Sweet Diabetes

Trying to think, supply wise there is nothing that needs to be cleaned out I don’t have much extra in the way of supplies to start with, certainly not enough to last more then a month at a time unfortunately (though lancet wise ya those I have enough for a year the way I tend to change my lancets, aim for once a day reality is every other day they get changed).

Insulin wise that is a month to month deal (some months I wonder if I’ll be able to afford to get my script or not or will I have to try and make what I do have last longer until I can figure out where I’ll get the funds to pay for it from (not a good feeling on any level as many well know).

Meter’s I’ve got my primary and a couple back ups that I keep around to use as necessary the other’s have gotten donated as they years have gone by because I upgraded and didn’t need the older version any longer (I try to keep at least three back up’s because that means I can keep one on me at all times that works.

Other wise I can’t think of anything diabetic related that emotionally I need to work on, though I am sure there is something that is related that is still in the back of my mind or something that only comes out in my dreams and fads when I wake up, because something has to be there to make my sleep so toss and turn at times.

Well post tomorrow take care everyone!
