N and I have been married for a number of years now, feels longer then it is on paper but guess that’s a good thing? ::chuckles::
Its been a rough year leading up to today, with the loss of my mom and N still being unemployed. But we’ve made it though for another year of marriage and we both know we’ll be able to make it though more together as a couple.
We are planning on renewing our vows with in a year or so depending on a few factors (work being the biggest and finances being the other big factor that needs to come into the picture). I know many are not into the renewal of vows or what have you, but my folks did their version of it for one of their anniversaries (back in 2001 era) and it brought them great peace to be able to do it again and I always promised N that we could do a version of it if he wished so that his mom could be in attendance if that was what he wonted (and he does).
