FitBlog ChatsQ1) What comes to mind when you think of how fit women are portrayed in media and society?
Slim and trim, no weight, no curves, eating unhealthy foods without a care in the world because no matter what they eat they will always have such a form.

Q2) How do you think women can generally better support each other in their health goals?
By not being critical of other’s who are different they yourself. We call come in different shapes and sizes, and just because one has weight doesn’t always mean that the weight was put on by choice, aka don’t judge the book my its cover.

Q3) What role does our #fitblog community play in encouraging women to be healthy?
I think that it gives a good idea that there are others out there who are real and into fitness, though I’ll also admit that in some regards its not as welcoming as it might well be, but such is the online community in general.

Q4) What is the craziest health gimmick you can think of that’s been marketed to women over the years?
Any and all of those fad diets,AKINS, Jenny Crag, Nutrasystem, the Grapefruit diet, the Special K diet, and the list goes on and on and one.

Q5) What misconceptions/stereotypes do you think need to be changed about fit women in the media/magazines/TV?
That there are those women who look heavy yet actually are in shape and are fit, it might just not look that way because of outwards appearance.
