Day 4 – Cymbalta / Duloxetine taper

Well not a great day yet it was good in general.

Pain wise it was all over the place and I had a migraine from hockey stick, never did figure out if it was withdrawal or pressure related, but it wasn’t glucose related.

Did shopping and the migraine was there and my worse episode of sensory overload to date also happened and of all the places it happened it was while at Costco. Then to add to the insult to my sences had to go to Walmart to get a few other items.

Which meant time we got back home I was in almost full meltdown mode and even parking our car was almost beyond my ability to handle. Then had to prep the food we got and put it away equaled my pain level going from a 6 to a 8 and instead of being localized in my back and thighs was also in my hands to the point that using the knives to carve the food up to be packed away was starting to bring tears to my eyes from the level of pain that just wouldn’t let up.

Ended up taking Advil to try and get some relief from the pain unfortunately nothing. So I know I’ll likely pay for today tomorrow, or at least I’ll be in more pain then normal in general. But it needed doing, I just wish it didn’t have to be so taxing or problematic. Part of me thinks I should have used the motorized cart at Costco instead of walking around for two hours doing the price comparison and breakdown might have saved me some of sensory overload issues or not.

But other than that it was a productive day.
